More than 40 people lost their homes in the two-alarm fire that broke out last Saturday in the apartment complex at 771 Lindbergh. Most of the damage was on the fourth floor, where the fire started, but units on every floor had some type of damage. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
 
The Red Cross in providing assistance, including food, shelter, clothing and replacement prescriptions, to families displaced in the blaze.
