New Chick-Fil-A Proposed for Lindridge-Martin Manor

Our neighborhood has been approached and asked to vote on a proposed variance needed to build a new Chick-Fil-A at 2419 Cheshire Bridge Road NE – the corner of Sheridan Road and the site of the former Regions Bank.

The developer and builder have shared their plans with the board (see preliminary concept aerial below), and it would be a new-concept restaurant that’s primarily a drive-up with a walk-up window plus a small outdoor dining area.

There would be no “sit-down” restaurant, and the developer has proposed adding a right-hand turn lane off Sheridan onto Cheshire Bridge to aid traffic flow.

The developer needs neighborhood support for a variance that would allow them to build next to the Easter Seals of North Georgia, which is currently zoned as a residence.

Representatives of the developer have asked to speak at the LMMNA Quarterly Meeting, set for Wednesday, Feb. 5, at Taverna Plaka. It is likely the board will call a vote after this presentation on whether the neighborhood will support this request for a variance.
