Our Community Garden
Share your passion for gardening and join our Community Garden across from the original Armand Green Space! No matter if newbie or experienced plantaholic, everyone can sign up for a personal garden plot membership. The plot membership covers the cost of topsoil, irrigation, and minor site maintenance. Membership fee is $100 per plot per year.

Be part of our Community Garden and sign up for your personal garden plot. If there are more applicants than garden beds available, we will return your payment.
Renew Plot Membership
Current plot members may keep their garden plot for 2024 if they reapply and pay the fee of $100 by Friday, March 1st, 2024. After March 1st, the beds will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
See how much we've "grown" in the past few years
In March 2019, a group of neighbors got together to set up the first raised beds. Spring and summer of 2019 also marked our first year of plantings. Today, we have 12 garden beds, but area enough to expand up to 21 plots.
Thanks to a generous $2,000 grant from the City of Atlanta and Neighborhood Planning Unit-F, a new irrigation system was installed in May 2018. And, at the end of his term, former Atlanta City Councilman Alex Wan provided the funds needed to construct raised beds for the garden. Then the NPU-F grant was used to install a water irrigation-only system on the property.
